Book Trailer Production
In the online world we live in today, authors need to find creative ways to promote their work. With the onset of video sharing forums such as YouTube and Vimeo, it would make sense to take advantage of these channels to get your book out in front of people.
A book trailer is a video preview of your book, acting very much in the same way as a movie trailer you would see at the theater. It gives the viewer a taste of what your book is about using images and background music to evoke an emotional interest. It also provides important information like release dates and availability.
The cost of a book trailer can range from several hundred to several thousand dollars depending on where you go. I actually started researching book trailers for my husband who is also an author. I found that more often than not, the quality of the cheaper trailers left alot to be desired so I decided to take a stab at creating one myself. At the time, the thought of offering a book trailer service to other authors didn't even occur to me. It was my husband who suggested it. So here I am!
